Feature Request: Aider CLI Model Pipeline Profiles for Enhanced Workflow Efficiency #5865

Currently, unlike Hermes Agent, Aider CLI lacks a profile system for easily switching model pipelines tailored for different tasks (e.g., high-performance models for initial design, general models for maintenance, lightweight models for simple tasks). Users are required to manually change configurations or specify command-line arguments repeatedly, which can be cumbersome and hinder workflow efficiency.

Introducing a profile system (e.g., via a --profile <name> command-line argument or environment variable-based automatic switching) would allow users to effortlessly switch between optimal model pipelines for various work contexts, significantly improving development productivity. We believe this feature would greatly benefit the Aider CLI user community.
