    @ut88080

    This is a critical UI bug that makes the text editor unusable. When the keyboard opens, text and the contextual menu overflow under the status bar, becoming unreadable and untouchable.

    I've prepared a complete fix that's ready for review. Per the contribution guidelines, this qualifies as a critical, production-blocking bug exception. Could this issue please be labeled with help wanted so the fix can be reviewed and merged?

    See PR #485 for the proposed solution.

    @ut88080 As author should I do this? I don't know how to add a label :( I can just edit the description text.

    Hi @naveensingh,

    I've identified and fixed the critical text overflow bug in the text editor. The issue occurs when the keyboard opens - text and the contextual menu overflow under the status bar, making them unreadable and untouchable.

    Fix Details:

    • Modified: app/src/main/res/layout/activity_read_text.xml
    • Added android:fitsSystemWindows="true" to layout containers
    • Build verified ✅
    • Changes are minimal and focused

    PR Ready: #485 is waiting for review

    What's Needed: This issue needs the help wanted label per the contribution guidelines. As a critical, production-blocking bug, it qualifies for the exception.

    Could you please add the help wanted label so the PR can be reviewed and merged?

    Thank you!
