Summary

This pull request (PR) adds a new section to the Findings table docs describing the what's new badge enhancement in v9.9.0.

Warning

I drafted these docs based on an unmerged PR to the upstream code base. If the implementation changes, the docs may also need to change. I humbly implore reviewers to help ensure accuracy 🙏.

Summary by CodeRabbit

  • Documentation
    • Clarified that findings created within the past 24 hours display a purple New badge instead of a timestamp, based on the First Seen date.
    • Added details on when the badge is replaced by the formatted date and how a finding recreated after archiving may display both New and Regression badges.

Walkthrough

The findings table documentation now describes the New badge, its 24-hour display window, the First Seen date shown afterward, and how the badge can appear with Regression.

Readers are directed to two different columns for the New badge. Align the descriptions with the actual table UI; this bounded documentation inconsistency does not otherwise block the PR.

A rabbit reads the findings page,
A purple badge appears on stage.
For one day, “New” takes the place,
Then First Seen returns with grace.
“Regression” may join the view,
The rabbit hops, its notes now true.
