Added Better Auth tables as in-development tables - #32584
Better Auth needs account, session and verification tables. Defining them as in-development tables lets their shape change while the migration is in progress: no versioned migration, outside the schema integrity hash, and only created in development and testing with createInDevelopmentTables.
user_accounts, user_sessions and verifications in schema.js, following Better Auth's schema for each model, with users.id foreign keys (cascade), unique (provider_id, account_id), unique token, and indexed expires_at/identifier. Classified in the exporter lists alongside sessions.
Dates are DATETIME(3) via a new precision option on dateTime columns in addTableColumn, because Better Auth expects dates to round-trip with milliseconds. Existing tables are unchanged.
A dev/test boot seeder gives each user a credential row in user_accounts from users.password (plan §4.4). It runs after the in-development tables are created and skips users that already have one.
The adapter suite's "ghost users" lane now builds every table schema.js defines with commands.createTable, so it checks their real types, lengths and foreign keys. Still 465 pass / 15 skipped / 0 fail; no new skips.
Verified locally on MySQL: a fresh development boot creates the three tables with one credential row per user and adds none on a second boot; with createInDevelopmentTables off, none of the tables are created.
The PR adds user_accounts, user_sessions, and verifications to Ghost’s development schema with millisecond-precision dates. Database setup can seed credential accounts from users.password when development tables should be created. The adapter test lane builds matching tables from Ghost’s schema, and the exporter includes the new tables.

Explanation
PASS. The pull request changes no scripts, tools, shared configuration, or paths under a scripts/tools directory. The new seeder is domain behavior in ghost/core/server/auth/better-auth, and its boot caller remains in Core. Integration and unit tests remain beside their owning Ghost subsystems. No tooling placement or execution problem is introduced.
Full details: Type-Safe Boundaries
Explanation
The prior failure remains unresolved. The PR adds a database boundary read in ghost/core/server/auth/better-auth/seed-credential-accounts.ts:16-25 and assigns the Knex result directly to {id: string; password: string}[]. The rows are then used to create account inserts at lines 34-42. No Zod schema or runtime validation parses the database result. The changed boot path invokes this seeder from database-state-manager.js:34-41, so the PR consumes database data without validating it first.
Resolution
Import Zod and define a schema for the selected user row. Parse the query result immediately with z.array(userRowSchema).parse(...). Define the row type with z.infer<typeof userRowSchema> and map only the parsed rows into credential accounts.

Add an integration test for credential seeding.
No test calls seedCredentialAccounts directly. The existing in-development table tests call inDevelopment.createMissingInDevelopmentTables, which does not run the seeder. The seeder runs only through the wrapper in database-state-manager.js. No test checks these outcomes:
The first run creates one credential row for each user and copies users.password into it.
A second run adds no rows.
An existing credential row keeps its values.
Add a database integration test under ghost/test/integration/ that creates users, runs seedCredentialAccounts, and asserts these three outcomes. The repository testing guide asks for tests that protect changed behaviour. The impact is limited to development and testing, because the seeder runs only when createInDevelopmentTables is enabled.

## Formatting
Source formatting is owned by [Oxfmt](https://oxc.rs/docs/guide/usage/formatter),
configured in the root `.oxfmtrc.json`: Oxfmt defaults plus single quotes, with
embedded-language formatting disabled so string contents are never rewritten.
CI rejects unformatted code, and the pre-commit hook formats staged files
automatically, so there is usually nothing to do. To format manually:
```bash
pnpm format path/to/file.ts
Assert the boot-time seeding result before deleting it.
This deletion removes the accounts created by startGhost(). Both tests then call the seeder directly, so they would pass if boot stopped calling it. Assert the accounts immediately after boot as well. (raw.githubusercontent.com)
Better Auth needs account, session and verification tables. Defining them as
in-development tables lets their shape change while the migration is in
progress, with no versioned migration and no production databases affected.
Their dates use DATETIME(3), via a new `precision` column option, because
Better Auth expects dates to round-trip with milliseconds; existing tables are
unchanged. A dev/test boot seeder gives each user a credential row from
users.password (plan §4.4). The adapter suite now builds these tables from
schema.js, so it checks their real types and foreign keys.
39-39: Minor · Data Integrity & Integration · Quick win
Restore the account rows after each test.
The final test leaves a credential with password kept in the shared worker database. Later tests can observe that invalid credential, and the seeder will not replace it because it skips existing rows. Restore the original rows in a cleanup hook, including when an assertion fails. (raw.githubusercontent.com)
As per coding guidelines: “Cleanup belongs in suite hooks that still run when an assertion fails.”
