Summary

• Compare namespace and property names by value instead of Java object identity.
• Allow the trusted default writer through its own write guard.
• Restore only the affected override after namespace or property updates.
• Ignore malformed override entries safely.

This replaces the earlier closed proposal with a patch rebased onto the current crDroid 16.0 implementation.
