…instance admins cache_response stores each reader's copy under "<path>:<user_id>", but most writes invalidated with user=False and no multiple=True, which only deletes the bare "<path>" key that is never written. The workspace labels/estimates lists stayed stale for the 2h TTL in production. - labels: app partial_update/destroy and v1 create/patch/delete now clear every user's copy - estimates: create/partial_update/destroy, the estimate-point writes and enabling an estimate on a project now clear every user's copy - instance admins: add/remove now clear /api/instances/admins/, which was cached under that path but only /api/instances/ was invalidated Fixes makeplane#10015

invalidate_cache clears the cache before the view runs, so a read during the write could cache the old list for the full TTL. Add an opt-in after_write flag that invalidates again on a successful response, and enable it on the label, estimate and instance-admin writes.

Requesting changes for the remaining concurrent-read cache refill race described inline. The sequential invalidation paths look correct, but an in-flight GET can still cache pre-write data after the final invalidation.

[P2] Prevent in-flight reads from repopulating stale data after this invalidation
The second delete still leaves a race: a GET misses the cache and reads the old labels/estimates, then the write succeeds and this post-write invalidation completes, and finally the GET reaches cache_response's cache.set() with its old response. That stale entry survives both invalidations and is served for the full two-hour TTL. I reproduced this ordering using these cache functions with a mocked cache and a paused read. The new unit test only covers the opposite ordering, where the GET populates the cache before the final delete.
Please coordinate cache population with invalidation (for example, generation-versioned cache keys so a read started before a write cannot populate the current generation) and add a regression test that resumes the stale GET after the successful write and final invalidation.

Fixed in 66f6977. Cached responses are now versioned per path: every invalidation bumps the version, and a cached response is only served when its version matches the current one. A GET that read the old data before the write saves under the old version, so it is never served. Added test_read_paused_across_write_does_not_cache_stale_data, which pauses a GET after it loads the old data, runs the write and both invalidations, then lets the GET reach cache.set(). It fails on the previous code ('old' == 'new') and passes now.
Version cached responses per path. Invalidation bumps the version, and a response is only served when its version matches, so a GET that read the old data before a write can no longer leave it cached after invalidation.

generation 1 atomically instead of exposing generation 0; when the generation

Description
GET /api/workspaces/<slug>/labels/andGET /api/workspaces/<slug>/estimates/are wrapped in@cache_response(60 * 60 * 2), which stores each reader's copy under"<path>:<user_id>"(plane/utils/cache.py). Most writes invalidated withuser=Falseand withoutmultiple=True, which deletes only the bare"<path>"key. That key is never written, so nothing was cleared and both lists stayed stale for up to 2 hours wheneverDEBUGis off. Label create already usedmultiple=True(#6587), which is why only that path worked.Changes:
partial_update/destroynow passmultiple=True. The v1POST/PATCH/DELETElabel endpoints had no invalidation at all and now clear the cache too.create/partial_update/destroynow passmultiple=True. The estimate-pointcreate/partial_update/destroyendpoints now invalidate. Changing a project'sestimate(enabling/disabling estimates) now invalidates, because the workspace list only includes estimates attached to a project.GET /api/instances/admins/is cached under that path, but adding or removing an admin only invalidated/api/instances/. Both writes now also clear/api/instances/admins/.The project
PATCHinvalidates only whenestimateis in the payload, so ordinary project edits don't trigger a pattern delete.Type of Change
