#273 merged before I could push this cleanup because maintainer edits to its head branch had been disabled. This PR applies the remaining changes on
main.The regression case has less setup and one assertion for the environment state. New immutable locals use
Final, andREADME.mdfollows the repository's Markdown formatting.
