Message extraction mapping does not match against package name #125

Given the following setup.cfg:

[extract_messages]
add_comments = TRANSLATORS:
output_file = awesomepackage/locale/awesomepackage.pot
no-wrap = true
mapping_file = babel.cfg

And the following babel.cfg:

[ignore: awesomepackage/contrib/**]

[jinja2: **/templates/**.jinja2]
encoding = utf-8
extensions=jinja2.ext.autoescape,jinja2.ext.with_

[python: **.py]

I was trying to exclude any files in awesomepackage/contrib. Unfortunately, this does not work because (contrary to intuition), "awesomepackage" is not included in the string to be matched. This is even though code outside of "./awesomepackage/" is also extracted from and the patch written to the awesomepackage.pot file contains "awesomepackage/contrib" in the comments.
