Hello there 👋

I'm Fernando, but people also call me Feña or Rojo.

✔️ Some stuff about me:

  • I'm interested in Developing things that actually solve problems (even if they are only mine), always opensourcing as much as I can, and contributing back whenever I see a chance.
  • Mostly driven by Software Design/Development, UI/UX, Systems Engineering, Security, Cloud Architecture, Self-hosted Infra and many, MANY other tech related topics.
  • I code mostly in Ruby (yay for interpreted langs), but I also do Python, JS/TS, and Golang when the need arises.
  • I like orchestration through plain Docker or Podman. I do love Kubernetes but I don't always need it, most of my time is wasted spent tinkering around in my Homelab setup.
  • I have many hobbies, so I'm never bored: Building PCs (for servers or gaming), playing Bass, IoT and microcontrollers, tabletop games, D&D, videogames and a few others that come and go.

🤓 Some tech-related projects I enjoy:

  • Maintaining my Homelab and testing new services, always improving, never fully satisfied.
  • Maintaining my Local AI setup, coding my own Harness/MCPs/Tools/Skills/Plugins/etc, the era of AI has definitely opened a whole can of worms to tinker with.
  • Building and using CLI tools/APIs/TUIs/ and things that I can use from my terminal.
  • Anything I can automate, specially Bots!.
  • System/OS/Workflow automation.
